Hello sweet families, I'm Ms. Hays. This is my first year teaching at Twin Lakes Academy Elementary (TLAE). However, I have been around the school working in extended day and subbing for about 5 years. Twin Lakes is my home and I am so happy to be able to be teaching here.
I have lived in Jacksonville since I was about 4 years old. I grew up out at the beach going to San Pablo Elementary, Fletcher Middle, and Fletcher High. I also grew up playing soccer and believe that sports are apart of what helped me get through school and build close friends. I graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville with a bachelors in Early Childhood Education and started teaching 2nd grade February 2015.
I have two sisters who are also teachers. One of them is actually at TLAE with me and it is so awesome to be able to have her here with me.
In my free time I love watching sports. I am a huge soccer and football fan (GO GATORS). I also enjoy spending time with my family.
