Our weekly homework will be posted here. If for any reason your child has lost theirs please print out a copy to send in with them.
Week of 9/7/15
Monday - No School
Tuesday - Have a parent scramble your spelling words and you are to unscramble them
Wednesday - Set a timer for 3 minutes and see how many times you can write your words in the 3 minutes
Thursday - Write your words, with a orange crayon circle the vowels and with a blue crayon underline the consonants
Friday - Turn homework in :)

Vocabulary
1. legendary - well known, famous like, or having to do with a legend
2. fairy tales - has members of a royal family such as a king or queen, characters have magical powers, begins with once upon a time, and has a happy ending
3. tall tales - a type of tall that has been told orally, often humorous, stories are about real life heroes of the American frontier, exaggeration of details
4. exaggeration - an over statement of the truth, in a tall tale makes the character seem larger then life
5. perplexed - completely confused or puzzled
6. ferociously - savagely fierce as a wild beast or person
